The most-awaited movie of Salman khan for this year, ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’, is doubtful to hit the theatres this Eid because of the coronavirus pandemic, which has forced the whole country comes to a virtual halt.
Well, if you are Salman’s fan then you must be already known that it’s a decade-long tradition of Salman Khan to release his movie every Eid. However, this time the situation is not the same as it used to be because of the coronavirus pandemic because of which the country is under 21 days lockdown which is also likely to extend due to an increasing number of cases in India.
The movie was earlier said to be released on 22nd May, but now it doesn’t seem that the movie would be releasing anytime soon.
According to the media reports, the filming of Radhe has not been finished yet.
News agency PTI quoted a source as stating, “Radhe is going to be pushed ahead for certain. We have got two songs left to shoot, along with that, there is also some patchwork left of about five days or so, and the editing part is also left.”
The statement further added, “We don’t know when the on-going situation is going to be normal and when we can shoot in order to finish our pending work,”
The movie will also witness the debut movie of singer Arjun Kanungo, as an actor. Arjun is very popular for his amazing remix-melodies. Other than Salman Khan and Arjun Kanungo, the film also casts very beautiful Disha Patani who is sharing the screen for the second time with Bajrangi Bhaijaan after playing a role in Bharat as well.
It was also the fact that many of the Salman Khan movies which were earlier released on the occasion of Eid have recognized to be the blockbusters in the past, whether its blockbuster movie Wanted which was released in the year 2009 or Dabangg or Bajrangi Bhaijaan, each turns out to be a big success.
Here is the list of Salman Khan movies that were earlier released on Eid, such as Wanted (2009), Dabangg (2010), Bodyguard (2011), Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Kick (2014), Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), Sultan (2016) and Bharat (2019), barring Tubelight (2017) and Race 3 (2018).
The movie is directed by Prabhu Deva and is produced by Salman Khan, Sohail Khan and Atul Agnihotri. In the main and key roles, the film stars Salman Khan, Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff. This film is the remake of South Korean film named Veteran and the principal photography of the movie started on 1st November 2019 in Lonavala.
According to an insider, people right now are worried and may possibly be doubtful about watching a movie in a theater because of the COVID-19 scare, therefore, it would be not fair to release a film at the time of this scary situation.
