Indian cricket star opener, Rohit Sharma, is the only cricketer in the T20 format, who is capable of recording a double hundred, said former Australia spinner Brad Hogg.
When the former Australia spinner Brad Hogg was asked from a fan on Twitter that who he thinks will hit a double century first in T20 format; the response from the cricketer amazed with his choice of the batsman. Hogg named India star opener Rohit Sharma as his choice for making a double hundred in T20s. He then also talked about Rohit and said that he had a very good strike rate, brilliant timing as well as has the range of shots for taking advantage of all-round the ground.
While responding to the questions asked from fans on Twitter, Hogg said, “At present Rohit Sharma is the only player I think capable of it.” He further said that Rohit has “Good strike rate, all timing, as well as plays cricketing shots finding six options all around the ground,”
Rohit is the vice-captain of the Indian national team in limited-overs formats. Also, in January 2020, he was named the ODI Cricketer of the Year by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
