Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor after testing negative for COVID-19 in her sixth test has been finally discharged from the hospital few days back. She is the first Indian celebrity to be diagnosed with this deadly virus after she came back from London last month.
She has been in the limelight since the day when she was tested positive for coronavirus as she didn’t follow the instructions carefully after coming back from UK (before she was formally detected with the COVID-19) and instead of isolating herself for fourteen days, she attended few parties and roamed around freely meeting several people, thus increased the chances of spreading coronavirus who attended those parties or come in touch with the singer at that period of time.
Kanika Kapoor had reportedly gone to Mumbai after she returned from London on March 9, after that she then went to Lucknow and attended a party.
Many political party leaders and workers also attended those parties where Kanika was also invited. Many FIR have been also lodged against Kanika Kapoor on charges of negligence act which increased the chances of spread the disease among others.
On the other hand, a recent report said that after getting discharged from the hospital, it seems like another troubles that were awaiting outside for Kanika have just started as the singer is now going to be cross-examined by the police after she completes her 14-day quarantine.
At present, the singer has been shifted at her home in Lucknow where she will follow 14-day quarantine and would soon be interrogated by the authorities as soon as he finishes her isolation period.
Earlier, Kanika was admitted to the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) for the further treatment.
As per to the report, the Deputy Commissioner of Police Central, Lucknow, Dinesh Kumar Singh, stated that an FIR was lodged against Kanika Kapoor on the basis of the complaint by CMO’s. She has been charged of neglectfully committing an act that increased the chances to spread this highly contagious disease and putting others life in danger due to this act. She will be also charged for “violating an order duly promulgated by a public servant.”
Now, the interrogation of the singer is going to take place after 14 days by Lucknow police.
Before testing negative for coronavirus, Kanika also shared a thoughtful picture where she wrote, “Life teaches us to make good use of time, while time teaches us the value of life.” She added “going off to bed and sending you all warm vibes.” She advised everyone to stay safe and thanked her fans for their concern.
She also neglected the rumours of being in ICU and wrote, “I am not in the ICU. I am fine. I hope my next test is negative. Waiting to go home to my kids and family…miss them!”
