Call Of Duty – Warzone just got an update very recently on April 14, 2020, that brings back an old and much-loved mode to the game. However, with this update, the mode isn’t back as it always was, yet, since it does have some noteworthy changes now.
This free-to-play battle royale video game got the release on 10th March 2020 and is compatible with Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The game, on the other hand, is a part of the 2019 title Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The game also features cross-platform play as well as a cross-platform progression between both games.
In the latest update, developer Infinity Ward has rolled out some playlist updates for both Modern Warfare as well as Warzone. Warzone explicitly got one key change that adds even more diversity to the selection of modes of the game.
Call Of Duty: Warzone Latest Update Details
The update has helped in brought back the much-loved and most favorite Trios mode. On the other hand, it’s not the Trios mode that players who jumped into Warzone from the beginning are acquainted with. It is still a Battle Royale mode where you will find the squad of three, but with a twist.
All those who wanted to participate in this mode can only use shotguns or else the snipers as their weapons. Suitably titled “Scopes And Scatter Guns” this mode allow its players to jump into the map with their squad of three along with removing mid-range weapons completely.
At the present, your only options are either to find a solid sniper’s nest and take people out from a distance or avoid the enemy sniper fire, get up close and personal and blast them with some shotgun shells. You can still collect cash and buy some legendary weapons if you want a quick upgrade, though.
This news comes up together with the announcing that Infinity Ward has disqualified 70,000 cheaters from their game. Their announcement was made on Twitter and they have also fired a warning to all cheaters that states “We are watching. We have zero-tolerance for cheaters.”
When Warzone was first launched, it was with a standard Trios Battle Royale mode, Plunder, along with a Solos Battle Royale mode. On the other hand, a recent update has also removed the Trios Battle Royale mode as well as it has replaced it with a Quads Battle Royale mode.
In addition to that, there are also some seemingly credible rumors that the game is going to get a Duos mode. This update is probable to come to Warzone as part of Season 3 of Modern Warfare content updates. In the meantime, Scopes And Scatter Guns is already here, along with that it should also add some more disordered variety to the Warzone’s already outstanding choices and range of game modes.
