You must follow the onscreen prompts, which consists of reading four phrases out loud. When you will say “Alexa, who am I?” it will instantly tell you who’s speaking.

After that select the Plus icon available at the top right corner and then tap on Add Group. As soon as you reach there, you can create a specific name for the group or can select from one of the names in the list, such as Family Room or else the Master Bedroom. After that you have to click on Next and select all of the smart devices for that room, then simply tap on Save.
That’s it, you are all done, at last you can say “Alexa, turn off the master bedroom lights” without naming every individual light that you have synced.
You don’t have to repeat things over and over again every morning or every single day, instead, you can create a whole routine. For this, you have to first open the Alexa app menu and then select Routines. After that, click on the Plus icon for starting the creating routines.
